Próis is the brain child of Founder and CEO, Kirstie Pike. "I was raised in the mountain town of Gunnison, Colorado where everything involves some sort of outdoor pursuit.  In 2008 I realized there was literally no line of hunting clothing for women who wanted a product that was technical and performance driven. I had an archery tag that year and went to Denver to stock up at a Big Box store that shall remain nameless.  There was nothing for women short of some camo capri pants and baby doll t-shirts.  I decided then that I could make a difference."  Kirstie had no manufacturing training and was, in fact, a Registered Nurse by trade.  Against the odds, Próis took form- changing the landscape for female hunters forever.

While many companies come and go, what makes Próis stand out from the rest is the amazing sisterhood of women associated with the brand.  Our employees, our hunt staff, and our customers are all drivers of what makes Próis unique- a community of like minded women who are wives, mothers, grandmothers, daughters, and the girl next door.  All of whom have a great sense of humor, a passion for the outdoors, and a desire to connect with each other.  "That, my friends, is something money cannot buy." quips Pike.  "This sisterhood has been the greatest surprise and support to me over the years.  As Próis has gone through a number of changes, these ladies stand by me and stand by the brand like a pack of wolves. To the day I die, this is one of the things that I am most proud of...the Próis Posse. And don't fool yourself, these ladies are the biggest badasses I know, and the most rambunctious collection of weirdness.  It's pure magic!"
